Fall Quarter Summary

The Beta Delta chapter of Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity is well on the way to having the best year yet. We have already risen over $2,000 for Shaare Zedek Hospital, Chai Lifeline, and the American Cancer Society. While it has been tough, we have excelled at balancing academics and fratenrity life: we have maintained the highest GPA amongst fraternities at DePaul.
Our brothers have been putting in a lot of time and effort this quarter to plan successful events such as our annual Hot Dog sale which was sponsored by Vienna Beef. A group of us participated in a five mile walk to fight breast cancer. On the social side, our brotherhood has been strengthening. We have played capture the flag and football as a fraternity. Our intramural football team participated in a fraternity intermural football league.
Alpha Epsilon Pi continues to be one of the strongest fraternities in the Greek community. We had one of our best mixers yet with the sorority Alpha Sigma Alpha in which we went to dinner a concert. We went to a haunted house with the Alpha Phi sorority and had a great time while frightened ladies held onto our arms. Our brothers participated in a three on three basketball tournament which was hosted by the Delta Gamma sorority. Also, we have gained several new brothers through a successful rush and pledge period thanks to their respective committees. Overall, our fall quarter has been a great first step for our newly chartered chapter.
